Jennifer Love Hewitt already has three engagement rings picked out

The Ghost Whisperer star has revealed to Ellen that she has already chosen a selection of three Tiffany rings for when boyfriend Alex Beh is ready to propose:

 "I feel like I'm doing the guy a favour, I feel women are very confusing. We never know what we want and we're not very good at nailing that down for them and I feel like I don't want to be upset if he picks a bad ring."

"I feel like having three picked out and saying, 'Look at this plethora of things you can choose from!'"

We have to admire her pluck. Alex and Jennifer have only been going out for a year so it’s pretty fast, although different rules apply to Hollywood. Years in showbiz are like dog years so they have been going out forever.

Also we weren’t aware that Tiffany did bad rings. Surely any ring from Tiffany is a good ring right?

    I used to work in a jewellers and I used to love it when a man came in to pick out an engagement ring, maybe just needing a little bit of help! But for every man that came in alone, a newly engaged couple also came in to pick the ring together... Who says romance is dead?

    hasn't she been engaged/married like a billion times? perhaps she should spend more time concentrating on her relationships......

    My OH knew I didn't want a solitaire but wasn't sure so had me draw something I liked "just in case". HE had it made just like I drew it and all was well. I'm sure without my help he'd have done a good job but he has no confidence in himself, still doesn't and it's our 10th wedding anniversary in 3 weeks

    Clearly she doesn't know what plethora mean i.e. a lot more than three. And my advice to him would be RUUUUUUN! If she is already thinking of managing him to the extent that he can't have any choice in the engagement ring, then he is in BIG trouble! However, now she's made it public, let us start the countdown to how long it is before that relationship is toast.

    Is that not just a weee bit loopy?! Not as loopy as picking out engagement rings after a week but a bit nuts none the less! Run for the hills curly hared man before she's chasing after you in a wedding dress!!

    "I feel like having three picked out and saying, 'Look at this plethora of things you can choose from!'" That doesn't say she does have 3 picked out...it says she FEELS like having 3 picked out!! Totally agree though guys. If my fella was to propose, I'd want him to have picked the ring because he knows me well enough to know what I want

    Not sure why she should be congratulated on this. Sounds a bit spoilt brat-ish if you ask me. Surely if she loves him enough to marry him, that's more important than telling him he can only choose from 3 pre-determined rings she's probably had picked out since before they even met. If I was him I'd run a mile... But then marriage doesn't appeal to me in the slightest anyway.
