Give them big love everyone.
Kara Tointon, Olly Murs, Dermot O’Leary and the rest of the Red Nose Day trekking team have made it across the desert – 100km of desert to be exact!
There have been tears, blisters, pain, mouth ulcers, bugs and chafing – but it’s all over now and they’ve done it all with total determination.
After embracing the hardcore walk, which saw the gang face 117F temperatures and burn 8000 calories on average a day, Kara Tointon said, “I feel elated to have crossed the finish line! I’m so tired but unbelievably happy we finished as a team.”
While Olly Murs commented, “My feet are like a pound of raw mince. I’d love to come back here but I won’t be walking.” He paints a beautiful picture, doesn't he?
Aww bless the lot of them – aren't they brilliant? Kara also said, “Thank you to all those people who donated, it really did keep us going during the tough times.”
And the good news is, there’s still time to donate to this lovely bunch. All you have to do is go to www.rednoseday.com/trek. Go on, it’s for chari-dee!
