Had lunch? Was it good? Was it a pastry? Because if so, you might not want to think too much about this next story.
Because Olly Murs' skin has been chafing. Chafing, in the groin and leg area.
Olly and fellow celebs Dermot O’Leary, Kara Tointon, Lorraine Kelly, Craig David and Scott Mills (amongst others) are currently trekking across the Kaisut desert in Kenya for BT’s Red Nose Day Trek – and unfortunately Olly’s having a few issues in his sweaty areas.
"I've got a lot of chafing on my legs and it’s really painful," he described (in a bit too much detail). I keep applying lubricant and cream to soothe it each morning but as soon as I put it on, we've got to start walking and the chafing starts all over again."
Olly went on to explain this particular chafing felt like a “severe case of nappy rash” and it took hold after the group’s latest 16 kilometres walk.
Ahh poor Olly and his bits. But at least he’s in good company – Dermot has reported bad blisters, whiles Lorraine Kelly has been suffering from mouth ulcers. Yesterday, poor Kara Tointon even had a bit of a cry when she realised just how painful the trek in 100F temperatures was going to be. And today, Radio presenter Peter White had to pull out for a while to receive medical treatment for the blood blisters on his feet.
Poor dears – you have to admire them though. They're doing it all for a very good cause. Fancy giving these hard-working stars some support? Then head to rednoseday.com/trek.and make your donation
