Poor Patsy Palmer has spoken out about how she had to be rushed to hospital in an emergency, following a massively botched botox job. The Eastenders star was shaken up as she was taken to A&E after suffering from scary ‘heart palpitations’ and the ‘inability to move her head’, following a routine botox treatment. She says her nightmare ordeal left her “so panicky”. Er, we’re not surprised.
The 38-year-old actress was speaking out about her ordeal on Piers Morgan’s Life Stories which is back for a new series this Spring. And the trauma has made Patsy swear off any further enhancements – despite the fact she’s always been a regular at the old collagen injections in the past. “That was my relationship with Botox over. I got really scared about it,” she admitted.
Patsy has also revealed that there’ll be no more Bianca Jackson on Eastenders either after she’s completed her maternity leave. The actress gave birth to little Bertie in December and was due to go back to the show once her assigned leave was over but Patsy admitted she doesn’t want to return to the soap, especially after the hugely controversial baby-swap storyline. “It affected me too, especially after having Bertie, so I can imagine how other mums must have felt,” she explained, adding, “I've just finished my contract with EastEnders and I've decided I don't want to be tied to anything”. So it looks like Bi-anca will not be returning to our screens anytime soon. Boo, and just as we were quite enjoying having “Riiiickyyyyyyyy” being bellowed out every time we switched over to the BBC in primetime. Sad times.
