It seems that the sex allegations against David Beckham aren’t as over as we first thought.
A “witness” will be backing prostitute Irma Nici’s false allegations of sex with David Beckham, Nici’s former boss Kristin Davis claimed last night.
The Manhattan madam said an unnamed woman was prepared to give testimony in support of the call girl.
Davis said: “I cannot say much about her other than she is a white American citizen in her mid-30s who lives in New York.
“She is someone I have known for a long time and Irma knows her too. She contacted Irma a few weeks ago and is willing to take the stand. The woman has been in touch with Irma’s attorney in California and has sent him notified documents outlining what she will say.”
Ms Davis, who is the former owner of one of New York’s most lucrative high-class escort operations, refused to confirm if the new “witness” is the second call girl who Nici alleged she and Beckham had a threesome with.
But she did say that the “ball is now in our court” and said that publicity-hungry Nici was more determined than ever to cause embarrassment to Becks.
The development comes after Beckham last week lost his attempt to sue for £15.5million in libel damages over Nici’s claims.
Bosnian-born Nici’s allegations against family man David have been widely rubbished and her story has been shown to be false, with Beckham nowhere near the locations in New York and London at which she said she met him.
Apparently Becks was 2,000 miles away when she says she first slept with him. Quite an achievement really.
But an American judge ruled the US magazine In Touch, which published Nici’s story, couldn’t be proved to have acted with malice.
In response to the verdict, Nici has filed a multi-million-dollar counter-lawsuit against Beckham.
She says she suffered a “mini-stroke” shortly after being served court papers outlining his lawsuit last year.
Nici says she spent nearly a week in hospital as a result and is still paying off medical bills that added up to tens of thousands of pounds.
A source said the Beckhams would face down any claims by the new “witness” with the same vigour they have shown in dealing with Nici.
The insider added: “David has made it abundantly clear that he will not tolerate his reputation being besmirched by lies and smear.”
