All of the excitement of winning Best Actress at last night's Academy Awards had a bit of a lip-loosening effect on the Black Swan star.
Natalie Portman said that her "most important role" was yet to come when she accepted the award for her lead role in the dark ballet thriller. In the media room backstage the actress spoke to members of the press about how she thought her little bump felt during the ceremony...
"I couldn't tell you. I don't really remember anything that happened just now," Portman said. "But the baby was definitely kicking a lot during the song portion of the show. Little dancer."
Cute! A little dancer baby for award-winning ballet dancer Natalie.
The mum-to-be has been wowing us with her stunning maternity style ever since she announced she was pregnant. Her gown choice last night was a pretty flowing Rodarte number, a clear show of support for the Rodarte designers who controversially missed out on a nomination for Best Costume at the Oscars last night.
Natalie also said her bump has been a blessing during the hectic awards season. Maybe she got given the really good seats, close to the bathrooms for emergency pregnancy wee trips?
2011 is looking to be one hell of a year for the lovely Miss Portman. Engaged to be married, pregnant with her first little bubba and winning countless awards for her turn in Black Swan. And this is all before she is even 30 years old! Wow.
Nat turns 30 on 9th June, btw.
