Oh dear, it was only two days ago that we were talking about how much happier Bradley Cooper seems these days but, alas, it appears he wasn’t as happy as we thought!
The actor has broken up with his girlfriend of two-years, Renee Zellweger (of Bridget Jones' Diary fame) but neither have made an official statement confirming the news. Instead, pals and insiders have been busy gossiping about it to Us Weekly, saying the pair have definitely gone their separate ways.
Bradders and Renee met when they were both filming for their flick Case 39 back in 2009 and it didn’t take them long to get all loved-up and serious. In fact, friends have said they were living together last year – though the couple themselves have always remained silent about their relationship. They’ve been so quiet in fact since the break-up rumours started, that they haven’t even released the classic ‘we’ll remain friends’ or ‘it was due to schedule clashes’ lines.
We have to say, we’re a bit sad about this – although they may have seemed a bizarre match, it was nice to know Bradley and Renee happy together. But it seems this Hollywood pair really have gone the same way as Joe Jonas and Ashley Greene, and Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel before them – they’ve very much in Splitsville.
We wonder if Renee has put on some granny pants and is sitting at home with a big tub of ice cream right now - you know just as Bridget Jones would. We certainly would be doing the same. Although, we do hope she finds her Mr Darcy soon. And in the meantime - coo-ee Bradley, we're totally available...
