He's straight out of rehab and straight onto the stage! That's right folks, Dougie Poynter is back and he's doing better than ever. All four McFly boys were reunited last night on stage as Dougie joined Tom Fletcher, Danny Jones and Harry Judd for the opening night of their Above The Noise arena tour.
The band hit the Sheffield Arena for their first show and celebrated their beloved Dougie’s return by giving him a minute solo at the start of the gig. He was of course greeted by a lot of screams and love. 10,000 fans can do that, you know.
It’s been a month since the McFly member went in to rehab to deal with his feelings in getting over The Saturdays’ Frankie Sandford. But it looks like the little man is on the mend and he’s feeling a lot more positive about the future. In fact, he joked about with fans saying they were welcome to ‘boo’ him if he got anything wrong because he hadn’t rehearsed properly. Bless his little Dougie socks!
The boys played a string of top hits such as Party Girl, All About You, Shine A Light and Obviously (a personal heatworld favourite) before Danny even got his rap on as the band covered Tinie Tempah’s Pass Out! Now, this we’d definitely like to see!
Well, isn’t it great to have Dougie back? We’re so glad he’s doing well and back to his normal self. And luckily for us, we’re off to hang out with the boys tomorrow at their gig in Brighton, so we’ll let you know how that goes too!
