HOT NEW COUPLE ALERT! X Factor finalists Rebecca Ferguson and Zayn Malik, one fifth of One Direction, have been spotted out on some seriously smoochy dates and it seems the pair are officially a couple.
Despite being six years his senior, gorgeous Rebecca has been getting cosy with 18 year old Zayn while on tour with the rest of the X Factor finalists. We can’t say we blame her – age is no barrier when they are this fit and plus, Rebecca is used to looking after children – having two of her own.
Zayn certainly does seem to be the resident X Factor lothario (always the quiet ones), spreading his affections amongst the X Factor ladies, having previously been linked to Cher Lloyd and papped in a clinch with Belle Amie’s Geneva Lane (we are almost certain that is not a proper name).
X Factor bosses are keen to keep the news a secret for fears it might affect either star’s profile. An nosy insider told The News of the World: ‘This relationship could damage Rebecca’s career. She’s seen as the devoted mum who doesn’t have time for relationships’ before quickly adding ‘especially with a teenager’.
Then there is all that Selena Gomez style hate mail she’ll have to sift through from heartbroken One Direction fans and of course, our letter of congratulations and little silver medal (gold goes to whoever bags Harry Styles).
