When the news broke back in February that Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson were divorcing we shed a little tear – they were so cute together, and it’s always extra sad when a couple with a child split up.
So we have to admit the latest bit of goss from the US has well and truly gotten our hopes up that the couple might reconcile. According to spies Pete and Ash have been spotted a Starbucks looking all cosy together, "Ashlee and Pete held hands, and Pete especially looked very happy. While waiting for their drinks, Pete had his arm around Ashlee and they definitely looked like a couple again. Ashlee kept smiling and lovingly leaned on Pete.”
However another source, has totally rained on our parade (boo!), telling People.com, "This is not a sign that they are getting back together. They both care about each other tremendously. They both love Bronx very much, and Ashlee has always called Pete her best friend. They are in the middle of still trying to figure this out.”
Surely going out to a Starbucks while holding hands and being snugly isn’t the best way to figure things out? We are totally on team ‘Get Back Together’. Pete, Ashlee – if you are reading this you know what to do!
