Jedward are growing up. They’re sleeping through the night, allowed to walk to the shops on their own and they’re even learning to drive. Well, they were. Until their driving instructor quit, that is.
John and Edward have earned a massive £2.85m from their careers (advertising moneysupermarket.com mainly. “You paid how much for your holiday?!”) and they’ve spend £250K on matching Ferrari 458s.
Blimey. But they can’t drive them until they’ve passed their tests. But sources reveal that the driving lessons aren’t quite going to plan, as the terrified instructor has quit after just 30 minutes.
"It's the ultimate test of patience getting those two to concentrate on anything,” says the insider. “Needless to say, the driving lessons were an absolute disaster. The bloke didn't just give up, he was on the brink of a nervous breakdown.”
We’re guessing the driving was a bit erratic, rather than John and/ or Edward bursting into a bit of their sure-fire Eurovision winner, Lipstick.
The driving lessons are apparently on hold for now – maybe until Top Gear’s Stig is available? And are we the only ones having a little panic about how expensive the insurance will be on those super-fast cars? Whatever happened to learning in a second-hand Nissan Clio like the rest of us, eh?
