So last night we tottered (literally we were in really high heels, they made our feet hurt) down to Harvey Nichols for the launch of the new Lucy In Disguise. You know Lily Allen's fashion thing that she does with her sister Sarah Owen, ready to wear launch to look at celebrities in nice dresses and to eat ice creams.
Pretty much everyone there looked lovely including Lily, Sarah and friends Jaime Winstone and Sophie Ellis Bextor who were all wearing dresses from LID that’s possibly not the best abbreviation we’ve ever come up with but we’re going with it. It almost made us wish that we’d actually brushed our own hair but we just couldn’t quite bring ourselves to do it.
We tried to talk to the lovely Lily herself but she kept running away from us, not literally, it was more like a fast walk. Maybe it’s because we were trying to ask her about her impending wedding.
Her family didn’t seem that up for chatting about it either. Oops.
It was ok though because it meant we could spend more time looking at the pretty indie type boys who seemed to be hanging around, stuffing our faces with prosecco and eating mini hotdogs and macaroni and cheese. Swings and roundabouts eh Lil?
