When Quinn and Sam finally got together in Glee, it was a match made in baby blonde high school heaven but Glee’s golden couple aren’t looking quite so golden anymore.
It seems the singing cherubs that go by the names of Dianna Agron and Chord Overstreet have decided to do an Emma Watson and mark the end of the Glee season with a ceremonial haircut.
Agron was first to go for the plunge last Friday, sadistically filming the death of her cheerleader ponytail to post on her blog.
She accompanied the video with the caption – ‘A remedy to the seven-year-itch. Finally!’ –
maybe the real reason behind the chop is a chronic case of headlice?
Bored of the Bieber jibes, Chord Overstreet quickly followed suit and revealed his new do at the fantastically named Wango Tango concert in Los Angeles on Saturday. He proudly proclaimed, ‘I cut the highlights out’. And we thought Rachel Berry’s fringe was bold!
Transformations like this always seem to go down a storm with the fash pack but us die-hard Gleeks can’t help but feel a bit sad.
We understand that you child-star types (this includes you, Hayden ‘13-going –on-30’ Panettiere) feel the need to assert your sophistication and grown-up-ness but can’t you find a way to do it that doesn’t ruin our teenage dreams?
Let’s hope they’re looking suitably angelic again by the start of season 3!
