Apparently Britney Spears is keen on getting married and having some more babies, but her father has said she can’t. He’s put the kibosh on the whole idea!
Jamie Spears, who you may remember has full legal control over his daughter’s personal and financial affairs, allegedly told Brit-Brit that having another kid would just make her depressed again.
According to In Touch magazine: while Jamie understands that Britney is “in love with Jason [Trawick] and wants to start a family with him… He feels she’s still too unstable to even think of having another baby.”
Anyone who bore witness to Britney’s vaguely horrifying Billboard Awards performance would probably agree she’s not at her best at the moment. She looked like someone whose best friend had advised them to take up pole-dancing classes to help spice up their failing marriage. You half-expected the camera to pan across and reveal a bored-looking, slightly-drunk husband lying in bed, trying to watch NASCAR over Britney’s shoulder.
Anyhow, we’re sad for the lady. If she wants to spawn some more babies she should be allowed to. After all: the children are our future (copyright Whitney Houston 1986).
