She may have been born Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta but it seems even Lady Gaga’s mum calls her by her notorious stage name.
The singer was interviewed by Rick Edwards for a (pre-recorded) T4: Gaga's Monsters show this morning and she was quick to tell Rick how Mama Gaga mainly pulls out her stage name when she’s angry.
“She’ll say, “Come downstairs Stef’,” revealed Gaga. But then if no one appears, she’ll shout, “Come on Lady Gaga!” Oh how we love to think Ms G is just like any normal 25-year-old who still gets in trouble with her mum for not listening!
The Judas singer also went on to surprise Rick by saying, “F*** fashion” when he asked if she can ever put on a pair of tracky bottoms and head out to the shops. But she soon after made clear she didn’t really mean it, admitting, “I really love fashion. I love clothes. My heart might stop beating without fashion.” She also admitted her Paparazzi video outfit was top of her list of outfits because “my clothes have feelings, they bleed”.
However, Gaga did acknowledge that there will come a time when she’ll probably regret some of her outrageous outer wear saying that she can imagine in “ten years from now, there’ll be a lot of ‘What was I thinking’?” Er, yeah, we'll be surprised if it takes that long...
Finally the lady herself said that when the day comes, she will want a huge extravagant wedding but will only invite a minimal amount of people. “I want it be big, but I’ll only have 15 people there,” she told Rick. “I could fly in on a unicorn.” And there you have it – normal service has resumed in Gagaville.
