Disaster unfolded at the BBC studios on Wednesday after Lady Gaga caused a catastrophic backstage bacon shortage.
The Born this Way songstress turned up to film The Graham Norton Show with such a huge bacon-demanding entourage, that the canteen struggled to cater to their streaky needs.
According to The Mirror: "There were about 80 hangers-on, they arrived en masse in the canteen, so the staff started frantically knocking together bacon sandwiches to feed them all. The sarnies were gone in no time and some of the crew had to go without."
Now we know the importance of a ‘frantically knocked back’ bacon sarnie more than anyone (this morning more than ever), but this is just ridiculous, even in Gaga’s world.
