Lily Allen got all dressed up in a plastic tiara, veil and a pair of stripper shoes for her hen on Friday night.
The Smile singer was joined by celebrity pals including Jaime Winstone and Miquita Oliver (who is one of Lily’s bridesmaids) for some cooking lessons with Gordon Ramsay at Claridges’ Savoy Grill. One person not on the guest was former party pal Kate Moss, who Lily has phased out as she tries to live a less rock and roll lifestyle. In her recent Channel 4 documentary Lily said of Kate, “I still have her number. I just don’t call it very often.”
Lily kept her twitter fans up to date with the events on her big night out with a few tweets; “I’m on my hen, having cooking lessons with a very special teacher. Gordon Ramsay, and he was brilliant. Had no idea, I am a very, very lucky girl.” Lily Also amused fans by posting pictures of her stripper shoes and a cocktail with a willy straw in it.
Earlier this week Lily used her twitter page to sound off about the stress of organising her wedding; “Tip of the day: don’t ever get married, it’s a nightmare, and everyone involved (or not as the case may be) turns into a c**t.”
Lily will wed her boyfriend Sam Cooper on 11 Jun in Gloucestershire, and it’s thought she’ll be wearing a gown designed by Karl Lagerfeld for Chanel. After the rough time Lily’s had over the last year we think she thoroughly deserves to have an amazing day.
