A mature looking Paris was being interviewed on Piers Morgan Tonight with her mum Kathy when she opened up about the heartache it caused her, “I just felt so betrayed,” she said. The socialite and reality TV star was keen to point out that she was in a committed and loving relationship when the tape was made, which made it harder for her to cope with, “This is not some random guy - this is someone I was with for a few years. I can't believe that he would do something like that to me.”
“It changed my life forever,” declared Paris. “When I was a little girl I looked up to people like Princess Diana and these women and I feel like he took that away from me.” Paris is hurt by how the tape has damaged the public perception of her, “Now when people look at me they think I’m something I’m not, just because of one incident, one night with someone I was in love with. People assume ‘oh, she’s a slut’ because of one thing that’s happened to me and it’s hard because I'll have to live with that for the rest of my life and explain it to my children. It's something that changed my life forever and I'll never be able to erase it.” During the whole interview her mum Kathy is sat by her side crying… it’s heartbreaking.
