Simon Cowell didn’t get the warm welcome he was no doubt expecting from the Britain’s Got Talent live audience last night, as they booed the TV show mogul. Simon returned for the first of the live semi-finals, and according to reports the judge was booed by the audience when the pre-show warm up guy mentioned that Simon was in the building, murmurs from the crowd saying, “that’s for Cheryl” could also be heard.
Being Mr Unpopular with the British public isn’t the only thing Si has to worry about at the moment, according to a source who has spoken to The Sun, Simon is worried that Cheryl will never speak to him again after the humiliation of being sacked from the US X Factor, Simon told a friend, “She has had it with me. I’ve hurt her and she won’t forgive me for this.”
Looks like this is one mess that won't go away any time soon
Mark Owen has been talking to The Sun about the record-breaking Progress Live 2011 tour and how it feels to perform live with Robbie Williams again. The singer admits that he and the rest of the Take That boys are really proud of what they’ve put together with Rob, “It’s great – a really proud moment for us all getting up there again together. We forget, because we’ve been hanging around together a lot, the fact that all five of us are up there is actually a great thing – a really brilliant thing. I’m made up.”
Have you seen the Take That boys on their tour yet? Are you as happy as Mark to see Robbie back in the band?
You might remember a few weeks back we reported that David Beckham was involved in a car accident. The football star managed to drive his vehicle into a car that was stuck in the car pool lane of a Californian freeway.
Now it’s being suggested that David was speeding and driving dangerously before the incident, taped calls to 911 have reportedly surfaced, with one female caller saying to cops, “I just want to let you know that the guy with the SUV was speeding all the way from LAX. He was speeding really bad. I let him pass by and he was just driving so recklessly.”
It doesn’t look like David will be in any trouble though, his spokesperson has confirmed, saying “As unfortunate as accidents are, David was not cited by police for any violations.”
