Most of us worry about how to celebrate our birthday. Will our friends turn up? Will we have a date? Can we fudge the numbers? That’s why we wish we had friends like Alan Carr's.
The Chattyman’s boyfriend Paul arranged a surprise party for Alan in his dressing room after he'd finished recording an episode. He invited all of Alan's close and showbiz friends including Adele, Gok Wan, Kelly Hoppen, Jonathon Ross and Jennifer Lopez! Swish!
A source told The Mirror that Alan was elated, claiming:
“Alan jumped out of his skin when all his guests screamed ‘surprise’ at him”.
We can just imagine J Lo’s bewildered face as Alan screamed ‘Ohh ma gawwwdd!’
The stars then all ran up to the studio and raided the stage mini bar, the same mini bar Alan uses to concoct drinks for his guests on the show. You know, the ones that always look disgusting.
An insider claims “They all made the worst drinks they could and downed them as one. Even Jennifer got stuck into the ‘cheeky vimto’.”
If that wasn’t enough, Alan was treated by Jen singing her own rendition of Happy Birthday to him. We hope our friends are taking note, that’s the kind of birthday we can get on board with!
