The face of ‘just say no’, Blake Fielder-Civil, has been found guilty for attempted burglary and will join his chum Pete Doherty in the nick after being sentenced to nearly three years inside.
Back in February, Blake and an accomplice broke into a house in Leeds, leaving with £4,000 of jewellery and electrical goods which are believed to have been used to buy heroin. Nice.
After the robbing, Blake and his sticky fingered mate were pulled over by police after acting ‘suspiciously’. In the getaway car, police found a fake replica gun and also a "balaclava made out of tracksuit bottoms”.
That’s right folks, a DIY balaclava. Makes us feel a bit funny to think of Blake cutting up his old trackie bottoms in preparation for his ill fated big day, kind of sad almost.
During the sentencing the judge said: "This case illustrates the depth people will sink when in the grip of heroin addiction” while, we like to imagine, swinging the homemade balaclava over his head.
For those scratching their heads, unsure of Blake’s link to the ol’ fame, he married Amy Winehouse a few years ago in 2007 and she even has his name tattooed on her chest.
Not that permanent ink matters so much anymore, just ask Jordan. Sadly the couple since have parted ways however, Blake has remained somewhat interesting due to his fondness of drugs and Amy’s constant on stage gibbering about him.
