Breathe a sigh of relief Friends fans, BFFs Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox haven’t fallen out, despite rumours to the contrary.
There were some reports earlier today of tension between the two actresses; apparently Jennifer wasn’t happy with Courteney hanging out with her male Cougar Town co-stars while she’s still technically married to David Arquette. A source even told Us Weekly that, “Jen thinks Courteney is acting callous by running around with this guy [co-star Brian Van Holt] but refusing to file divorce papers. Like she's playing mind games with David.” You’ll remember that Courteney and David announced their separation back in October last year after 11 years of marriage.
In any case, it would seem that any rumours of a rift are total nonsense, and a spokesperson has been quick to issue a statement to quash the goss. A statement given to Gossip Cop said, “There was no falling out and Jennifer has always and continues to consider Courteney one of her closest and dearest friends."
Frankly we are relieved, Jen and Court have been friends for so long and gone through so much together we’d hate to think of them not being pals any more. And yes, we realise this does make us a bit sad.
