Lindsay Lohan is a free woman again after completing her 35-day house arrest sentence. The 24-year-old had her monitoring bracelet removed and was finally allowed to leave her Venice beach home yesterday.
Thankfully Li-Lo didn’t head for the nearest nightclub or paparazzi hotspot, instead the troubled actress’ first trip out was to the Downtown Women’s Centre where she’ll be completing 480 hours of community service that makes up part of her recent sentencing. The starlet was snapped getting into car carrying two cases of muffins. Good tactic, Linds – everyone will like you if you feed them free treats. As Lindsay emerged from her house she told TMZ, “I'm excited to start community service and focus on my work.”
We just hope Lindsay is serious about completing her community service and sorting out her life in general. The Mean Girls fan in us would love to see her back to her best.
Anti-shoplifting classes
As you may remember Lindsay was
first sentenced to 120 days in jail for violating her probation after she was charged with felony grand theft for allegedly pinching a $2,500 necklace. After the charges were reduced Lindsay eventually pleaded no contest and because she’s a non-violent offender she was allowed to complete her 35-day jail term at home. As well as the 480 hours of community service, Linds is also being sent to anti-shoplifting classes. Anti-shoplifting classes? What does that involve? Surely it’s a case of telling people, hey, don’t steal things?
