Super star PR guru, Max Clifford has spoken out on Kerry Katona’s current situation. Last week it was reported that Kerry and her manager Claire Powell have parted ways, a move which was feared to have left poor Kerry homeless.
Talking on This Morning, looking particularly ready for summer in his nice yellow shorts, Max gave an update on what’s really going on in Katona-land since the alleged dumping. He insisted she has taken no drugs and praised her for being ‘a little mum’ (as opposed to a big mum?) adding that she gets no help from her exes, Mark Croft and Brian McFadden:
“The bad news is that her finances are in a real mess. The good thing is she came to see me last week, she’s looking really healthy, she’s really happy, she’s facing up to her problems, the kids are a joy to behold – as a little mum you can’t criticise her for what she’s done with no help from Brian McFadden and no help from Mark Croft, she’s done that on her own. She hasn’t taken drugs, she promises me, she had a drugs test in my office last week to show everybody”

He also said how the split was nothing to do with Kerry personally, but rather to do with the split between the two managers, Neville and Claire (who everyone probably know best from Kerry’s ITV2 programme)
“The split is the split between Claire and her partner, there was Neville on the TV side and Claire on the management side, so they’ve fallen out and Kerry is in the middle”
However, he hastily added: “Claire has done a very good job management-wise and no one was made homeless at 5pm yesterday. Claire has agreed to pay the rent for another month to give her time to sort out where she wants to go. But she is in a real mess financially“
He then mentioned that she would like to come on the show to talk about what’s going on herself. This is good and hopefully will also earn her a few quid.
