Say it isn’t so? But reports from across the pond seem to be suggesting that Pete Wentz might be dating someone new. BOO HOO, SOB, ETC. Does this mean that he and Ashlee Simpson will never get back together? More SOBBING ETC.
Pete’s apparently been spotted getting flirty with vocalist Bebe Rex (wearing a red jacket in the picture) who he’s working with on him on his new project Black Cards. We presume this is some sort of music thing rather than just a club where they black cards, uh, black.
Pete’s even called the singer “gorgeous and talented”. Now we’re sure she is both of these things but if Pete and Ashlee don’t reunite then our faith in love may as well be destroyed, pretty much forever.
The pair split in February and we held high hopes for them getting back together after they were spotted recently taking their son Bronx for a family day out.

At the time it was rumoured that they split because of Pete’s partying ways but he has since said that they’re still best friends.
He told Ryan Seacrest, "Ashlee's been my best friend for five years; she's the mother of my child. I have nothing but love and respect for her and going through something like this isn't easy, but we're friends and the most important thing is to put our son first."
