She’s only a wee girl of five but Suri Cruise already has a shoe collection that would make Carrie Bradshaw jel! Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes seem to have their work cut out for them as Suri is quickly gaining a reputation has Hollywood’s biggest little madam, giving Mariah Carey a run for her money in the demand stakes. What Suri wants, Suri gets and it turns out that what this lil lady wants is shoes - £90,000’s worth of them!
Apparently, the mini fashionista is “a massive fan of Marc Jacobs” and now insists on wearing high heels at all times (well, she is only 3ft 6) – even on the beach. The world’s most indulgent mum, Katie has even had some Marc Jacobs pumps redesigned to accommodate Suri’s heel requirements. Her collection also includes custom-made Louboutins. Shame she’s going to grow out of them in about six months.
Sources close to the A-list family say that Katie is to blame for her high heel obsession but we have a feeling she might have learned a few tips from her vertically-challenged dad. Rarely seen out in the same outfit twice (we are starting to think maybe Katie wasn’t allowed dolls as a child), Suri’s a style icon in the making. We’re holding out for a future romance with the King of Kiddy Cool, Romeo Beckham….imagine the wedding!
