Louis Walsh cheered by X Factor audience
Louis Walsh must be one very relived and happy man. After being cleared over that whole nasty indecent assault allegation, the long-serving X Factor judge received huge cheers and support from the audience at yesterday’s Cardiff auditions.
The 5,000 audience members cheered Louis’ name and got to their feet to give the 58-year-old boy band manager a standing ovation. Louis apparently looked close to tears as he thanked everyone for their support, he said, “Thank you very much. I am delighted to be here and get on with the show again.” Yay for Louis!
Meanwhile Leonard Watters, the man who falsely accused Louis of groping him in a club toilet, was arrested on Tuesday but granted bail on the condition that he doesn’t contact Louis. His hearing will take place on 7 September and could face up to five years in prison if he is found guilty of making a false statement to police.
