Two men have been arrested in Devon for plotting to kill Joss Stone. Yes, Joss Stone, the singer.
The pair were caught with swords, rope and a body bag. They also had maps of Joss Stone’s house and aerial photos of the area.
They were spotted by neighbours who had noticed them driving around suspiciously (Joss lives near a tiny village) and contacted the police.
The pair were stopped and originally arrested for possession of offensive weapons before being upgraded to conspiracy to rob and murder.
A Devon and Cornwall Police spokesman said: “Police attended an address in Cullompton yesterday morning after alert residents notified officers about a suspicious-looking vehicle."
"Officers attended the area at around 10am and subsequently arrested the occupants of a red Fiat Punto. Major crime detectives are continuing to investigate."
