Kick Ass star Aaron Johnson and his film-director wife Sam Taylor-Wood have revealed they're expecting their second child - which means Aaron is about to become a dad of two at just 21.
The couple already have a 12-month-old daughter called Wylda Rose - and you might remember they caused a lot of chatter when they first revealed they were together - with people stating their 23-year age gap was a tad too much. Aaron is also step-dad to Sam's two elder daughters from her relationship with Jay Jopling - which means technically he'll soon have four young 'uns keeping him occupied! Wow.
But Aaron has always fought the doubters and has previously even said, "I'm in love, I'm blissfully content. No one's getting hurt. We're in a loving relationship. We're engaged. Everyone who matters is happy. Exactly which bit of that do I have to defend or apologise for?"
A valid point, it has to be said. And even Sam has pointed out how the age difference is nothing but a number. Talking about Aaron's maturity, she said, "‘He is more grounded. He has been getting work offers which he has turned down because he wants to be here for the crucial beginning months of Wylda's life."
And despite all the hard work a baby can bring, Aaron has not once had a cheeky snipe at changing nappies and the early morning wake-up calls - showing he is well and truly grown up and dealing with his duties as a dad.
It's lovely to hear some good news for a change - Aaron and Sam, big congrats go to you – we can’t wait to hear whether Wylda Rose is having a little brother or sister.
