Dishy David Tennant’s recent interview has revealed…wait for it…he wants to return to Doctor Who! In the words of TOWIE’s Harry ‘Oh ma gawwdd’.
This programme has had more doctors than we’ve had roast dinners, but it has to be said that David is definitely in our list of top docs.
David told Catherine Tate he was leaving the series when they starred in the show together back in 2007. Catherine kept about as quiet as her ’Nan’ character, and proceeded to tell the entire nation. They’re both now starring in the stage show Much Ado About Nothing, but it seems David wants to leave all that and return to the cult favourite. Get the hint Tate!
The multi-talented actor has told Total Film that he wouldn’t rule out returning to the show. That’s right Doctor Who Bigwigs, he wants back in. David went on to tell the mag:
"People keep telling me that they've read online that I'm coming back - but believe me, if that happens I'll be the first to tell everyone. I'll be shouting about it very loudly"
Maybe if we’re lucky David will make a guest appearance alongside current dreamboat doctor Matt Smith. Multi-Doctor action sounds good to us! But we are fond of Matt, what do you Heat citizens think?
