When it comes to the downsides of fame, attracting crazy stalkers has got to be the worst. So we’re feeling just awful for poor Halle Berry who’s had to get a restraining order against a “fan” who has attempted to enter her property on three occasions in the past week.
Court papers filed by Halle state that Richard A Franco – who was arrested on Monday near Halle’s Hollywood Hills home – state, “He has terrorised me and my family in three consecutive incidents over the last three days. This person has invaded and trampled upon the most fundamental sense of security I have... I am extremely frightened of him and what he might do to me and those I love.”
A Los Angeles County Superior Court judge has now granted a temporary restraining order, which prevents Richard A Franco from coming near Halle, her daughter, or their home. A full hearing for a permanent restraining order has been scheduled for 1 August.
