One thing we have learned today – Heidi Montag is not a lady who does things by half measures.
We already know about her extreme plastic surgery marathon – during which she had a crazy 10 procedures – and now the reality TV star has admitted to working out for hours and hours on end for the past TWO MONTHS, all to get ready for an upcoming pool party. Speaking to Ryan Seacrest on his US radio show, Heidi said, “I was working from around 5am to 7pm. Obviously, I'd have lunch and little breaks in between. I gained so much weight on this new show I was doing, Famous Food for VH1, so I just had to get in shape.
“I do a few hours a day on the treadmill, running, and I would do three or four hours of cardio a day. You watch TV and movies [to get through it]. I've seen everything you can imagine! I do a lot of lunges and Jumping Jacks and I try to do a lot of cross-training and sit-ups. I was doing almost a thousand sit-ups and push-ups a day."
Just exactly how much weight did Heidi put on when appeared on Famous Food? We’re starting to imagine that she must have doubled her body size! Why else would she need to work out so intensely? Of course, if we were married to Spencer Pratt we’d probably spend every second of the day in the gym just to get away from his self-satisfied face.
