She’s only recently re-admitted herself into rehab following a string of shocking alcohol binges, but now reports are coming through that Valerie singer, Amy Winehouse, is getting worse - to the point where friends are fearing she could end up seriously ill and in hospital. In fact, it’s been reported that Amy has blacked out three times in the last week after having indulged in glass after glass of vodka.
Worried sources close to the singer last night spoke out about her binges, saying, “Her drinking is totally out of control. Amy is constantly out of control on vodka. She is rattling about at home in North London drinking herself into oblivion. Three tines this week she has been so drunk she passed out.”
Concerns were first raised a few weeks ago, after a video was posted on YouTube by one of her fans following the singer’s disastrous gig in Belgrade. The film showed Amy struggling to keep upright, throwing her shoes at a band member and even failing to get her words out while singing. And according to pals, even her boyfriend Reg Traviss has refused to see when she’s been in such a state. The video led to the star admitting herself into rehab and the rest of her tour being cancelled.
And we have to say, this makes us very, very upset. It’s not often a talent like Amy comes along and it’s fair to say she’s touched the world through her music. Now we’re seeing her slowly unravel again in front of our eyes and it’s terribly sad. Amy, please sort yourself out – we can bear to see what you’re doing to yourself.
