This could be the most embarrassing thing that can happen to a celeb, the thing which leaves them uttering the unthinkable: ‘Don’t you know who I am?!’ when the answer is no, they really don’t. It is, of course, being denied entry into the VIP area, the celeb zone of the otherwise mere mortal world.
Unfortunately for Kelly Osbourne this is just what apparently happened at the Pulp concert in Hyde Park, London. Kel was keen to get into the exclusive area to hang out with her celeb mates when a burly bouncer stood between her and the champagne bar. Despite being very obviously Kelly O, the bouncers weren’t aware of her celeb status and without a special wristband, she wasn’t going anywhere.
Luckily for Kelly, her mate and fellow VIP, the lovely Alexa Chung was around to save her from further humiliation. Witnesses reckon they saw Alexa kindly chatting to the bouncer, at one point even putting her hands reassuringly on his shoulders, to convince him of Kelly’s VIP worthiness enough so that, eventually, he changed his mind and let both the ladies in. All a fuss over nothing then, eh?
However, Kelly has denied all on Twitter, posting: 'We were asking directions trust me getting in any where was never a problem!'. Well, you would, wouldn’t you?
