Hands up who knows who David Gandy is? He is, of course, that gorgeous model man who looks pretty darn amazing in his smalls. We know who he is very well indeed. But it seems his girlfriend, Saturdays singer, Mollie King was in the dark to his glorious work until after she first met him.
Speaking to Company magazine, Mollie said she was first introduced to her now boyfriend at a fashion party and had no idea what he did:
“We met a while ago at a fashion party when a friend introduced us.”
“My first thought was that he seemed a really nice guy. The girls were like, ‘Do you know who you were talking to, Moll?’”
“When I first met him I had no idea who he was, which is probably a good thing otherwise I’d have got all starstruck!”
This is super cool behaviour from our fave Saturday. If we were confronted with a sight like David for the first time, we would have been lucky to have not fainted.
She also talked about what it’s like being in such a high-profile relationship:
'It is weird dating in the public eye, especially when it’s so new. When the papers first ran pictures of us I thought, "Oh my goodness! What is it going to be like?"
Aww, we reckon she should just think of it as a good chance to show off her amazingly gorgeous arm candy! We would.
