Orlando Bloom wanted an epidural during Mirada Kerr’s labour!

Last week, model Miranda Kerr admitted she felt like she was going to die when she was giving birth to her son Flynn – but it sounds like she wasn’t the only one suffering in the delivery room.

Talking once again about giving birth naturally, Miranda joked (at least we assume she’s joking) that husband Orlando Bloom wanted the epidural that she refused to take. Chatting on Australian TV show Sunday Night the 28 year old said,

“I had made the decision to not have any drugs, no epidural, nothing. Each to their own. I'm crazy for doing that! A lot of my friends who have had epidurals have said, ‘Oh, (labour) was so great.’”

'I remember looking at Orlando and saying, ‘Oh, honey’, and he said, ‘Give me the epidural! Seriously, if you don't want it I'll take it, because right now I'm dying watching you go through this pain.' I didn't realise (Flynn) was going to be such a big baby.”

We had no idea Orlando was such a big wimp.

@Gemmag2 Bit harsh. Really, it's the media that keeps reporting it, not her that keeps talking about it. At the same time, I agree that millions of people around the world have children, and it doesn't just suddenly become special because a pretty White couple do it.

Hell i had a freaking epidural after 24 hours in labour and i was all for the natural birth. When the labour is 37 hours altogether it is unrealistic to think you can do that without pain relief, i hate how people try to make you feel bad for that. I thought a scented candle and a pool were all i would need but the reality is different. It really does depend on how long the labour is and how much pain you can handle. Sick of hearing about Miranda Kerrs natural birth. It makes other people feel bad

'Oh I'm so amazing and crazy for not having drugs during childbirth, blah blah' = we live in a society where the merest hint of a headache has us reaching for the anadin, but just try asking for pain relief during the extremely painful process of childbirth, or telling people that you used it, and people act like you're some sort of pathetic loser!

Why does she think she's the only woman to give birth without pain relief!!! Sick of hearing her bleat on about it! You did something millions of women do every day, get over it!
