As you have probably gathered, Richard Bacon was presenting his BBC Radio 5 Live show live from heat Towers today. Precisely speaking, right behind the web desk. Very exciting.
By coincidence, we had Made In Chelsea’s Ollie Locke and Cheska Hull (and not forgetting Chloe Green!) pop in for a webchat at the same time PLUS Nick Hewer from The Apprentice turned up to join in the fun. Random, but brilliant.There was even a fabulously cool moment where the five stars collided and introduced themselves.
After his radio show was finished, we grabbed Richard Bacon for a chat and he only admitted to having a little crush on Made In Chelsea's Cheska.
“Yeah, I fancied Cheska," he said. "I would go on a date with her, but I would have to take my wedding ring off. How old is she? She’s quite attractive. I quite fancy her, but I think the age gap is too big, that would be weird.”
However, Richard then went on to say he preferred The Only Way Is Essex to Made in Chelsea, which we suspect won’t score him any points with Cheska. When we asked him which TOWIE cast member he liked best, he replied,
“Amy Childs is fun. She said to me, ‘I’ve seen you somewhere’ and I told her I present the afternoon show on Radio 5 Live, and then she told me, ‘We all have to start somewhere’.”

LOL! Finally we asked Mr Bacon his views on the Nine O’Clock news, to which we were surprised but delighted with his somewhat ‘unconventional’ views. Talking about whether Cheryl Cole is right to get back together with her love rat ex, Ashley Cole, Rich had a quick think about Ashley’s alleged past and then deemed him comparable to an evil dictator:
“Well, Ashley Cole did apparently throw up in a hairdresser’s car and say they should be honoured to have his sick in her car, so the details are pretty harsh. Didn’t he also imprint his wedding ring into someone’s bum?” Er, yeah "allegedly". “And he did appear to shoot someone with an air rifle, it’s all a little bit General Pinoche. That’s right: I’m comparing Ashley Cole to General Pinoche.”
So, that’s that. Richard Bacon fancies a date with Cheska Hull, is most definitely anti-Ashley Cole, and is a huge TOWIE fan! You heard it here first!
