Tom has recently discussed his career plans, and despite reports that he plans to launch a rap career (which was obviously a joke), Tom says he has no plans to turn his back on acting for life as pop star.
“I definitely don't want to turn making music into some sort of career. I think it would suck the life and passion out of it if I do that. It's a hobby. It's been something I do to kill time, especially when I'm waiting for scenes to be set up and things like that. And I want to keep it that way, really. It's something that I'm really passionate about, and I hope to be able to help other young musicians somewhere along the line. Fingers crossed, I hope to continue with the acting.”

Apes film, he's making a good start.
