The Ryan Phillippe baby mystery is moving on quickly. Alexis Knapp, a model-actress (we loathe that term), who dated Ryan in 2010, realised she was in the second trimester of her pregnancy in March 2011 – and that’s when it came to light that Ryan could be the father. Unlike many other high-profile ex/baby cases (such as Jude Law and that American bird) Alexis Knapp has kept quiet about the whole situation, and has apparently told friends that she never asked for or expected help from Ryan.
US reports now claim that Ryan Phillippe’s ex-girlfriend Alexis gave birth to a heathly 8lbs baby girl named Kai on Friday morning – with Ryan by her side!
That’s the clearest sign we’ve had that he’s the daddy and definitely the sweetest. It makes us go all mushy inside just thinking about it. Although we should say that he’s apparently still waiting for the final paternity test results.
We never thought we could love Ryan Phillippe again after he split with Reese Witherspoon – they were our ultimate Hollywood couple! However, with Reese Witherspoon marrying for the second time recently and now Ryan possibly becoming a father for the third (he has a daughter Ava, 11, and son Deacon, seven, with Reese), it definitely is time that we moved on.
So congrats, Ryan (if you’re the daddy) and good luck with the new baby (if she’s yours). We can’t believe you’re (nearly) a dad again.
