It’s one of our favourite TV shows, like, ever - so we were gutted when Sex And The City finished. Now at least we know why Sarah Jessica Parker decided to call time on her involvement with the TV series – it’s all because she wanted to focus on being a mum. Ahhh.
"I ultimately chose to stop doing the television series because I felt like it required, and deserved, a lot of time when I really wanted to be a parent,” SJP tells Vogue.
The 46-year-old mum of three also explains that she and husband Matthew Broderick relish being a hands-on parents to their children James Wilkie, 8, and 2 year old twins Lorretta and Tabitha.
"We don't have any live-in help. We're pretty hands-on parents. That's something that's important to both of us, and we don't shirk it, because what's the point in having a family if you're not going to really participate in it, you know?"
It’s admirable that SJP stopped working on Sex And The City to focus on her family, but she still owes us a decent SACT movie.
