It was the end of an era. The stars of Harry Potter gathered to celebrate the end of the saga that’s been running for 10 years, and the fact that they can now all legally drink worldwide. Hooray!
If you’ve been living under the stone for the past 10 years and need to familiarise yourself with the franchise, we suggest watching all of the film trailers in order. There's basically a lot of explosions, owls, wands and Ralph Fiennes with a very flat face. Presumably because he ran into the wrong platform at the station. Guffaw.
To celebrate all the work they'd achieved, the HP cast threw a well-deserved after party – and how did these teen stars celebrate? By throwing TVs out of windows and doing belly shots off of beautiful naked people? No. They played Scrabble.
Tom Felton, who plays Draco Malfoy, spoke out about the cast’s wild night on the chat show Lopez Tonight, saying, "There was an after-after party, and we had a few of the cast members there. Everyone was expecting us to be popping Cristal and all the rest of it, but we actually played Scrabble until about two in the morning; Daniel [Radcliffe] and I got very heated at a game of Scrabble!"
These kids today, eh? Mind you, we’re also quite partial to a game of Scrabble. We can imagine them sat there, trying to push the past 10 years of wizard terminology from their brains.
The heat office is very sad that the series has come to an end. From Harry Potter And The Philosopher’s Stone, to Harry Potter and the thing of things, we’d gladly welcome a new addition to the series. If you’re listening, JK Rowling, make it happen.
