We know that celebrities like to do things that will get them the maximum amount of attention possible, but would anyone really plan announcing their divorce to get maximum media exposure?
Apparently Jennifer Lopez would - as sources in the US are alleging that Jenny from the block and her soon-to-be ex-husband Marc Anthony actually broke up months ago but kept their split a secret, only going public with the news to coincide with Jen’s appearance on the front cover of Vanity Fair.
“They have been over for months but were keeping it secret, waiting for the right time to break it,” a source claims to online news site The Huffington Post.
Meanwhile an additional source in the publishing world suggests it would have been impossible for Jennifer to get on the cover of Vanity Fair talking about her divorce just weeks afterannouncing the news, “Vanity Fair closes its issue at least three months before it hits newsstands,” an insider reveals. “No way could they have decided to split two weeks ago and be on the cover of a monthly magazine that fast. Something suspicious is going on for sure.”
We have to say we think this seems like a load of old nonsense. We could believe it of Katie Price, but J-Lo? We’re sure she could get on the front cover of any magazine she wanted, divorce or not. But what do you think? Do you think there’s any truth in this rumour?
