Sad times for ex-Spice Girl Geri Halliwell – the singer has split from her boyfriend of over two years, poshy posh aristocrat and socialite Henry Beckwith.
A source has claimed that the reason for the split could be that Henry’s a bit of a Jack the lad, who just isn’t ready to settle down and can’t give up his partying ways. The source explained,
“At 32, Henry’s too immature and he’s not ready to settle down. Ultimately, he made Geri feel just too insecure.”
This is all a bit sad, especially considering the rumours that Geri was planning to wed her man later this year. However, more recently, Geri and Henry were snapped hand-in-hand on a beach as he ogled another lady. Another source close to Geri told The Sun,
"The age gap meant he had a wandering eye when it came to other women and he was interested in partying. She doesn't trust him."
Geri celebrated turning 39 on Saturday and put on a brave face as she stepped out with friends. She has been working on new material and recently revealed that her 4th album is finished. Not one to shy away from work, Geri has also just completed an evening dress collection to add to her Geri for Next range.
Maybe her schedule also had something to do with the two parting ways? We hope Geri finds a more deserving man. Time for Baby, Posh, Scary and Sporty to get the Ben & Jerry’s in, we think.
