The Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony divorce saga rolls on.
We’ve previously heard reports that Marc has been begging J-Lo to take him back, and the couple have been spotted together in the Hamptons, sparking off yet more rumours of a reconciliation. Because of course, a divorcing couple with children would never meet up unless it was to discuss getting back together, it wouldn’t be for an innocent reason like spending time with their kids. Anyway, it looks like Marc has no chance of wooing back his wife.
A pal of Jen’s has spoken out to put an end to any hope that the American Idol judge will ever get back with her ex, telling E!Online,
"I don't know about him, but she's done – as she should be. Do you have any idea what she put up with? [Jennifer] would never go back to Marc."
Well, that makes things pretty clear, doesn’t it?
Jen’s Idol return
In other La Lopez news, Jen is reportedly definitely heading back to American Idol, with producer Nigel Lythgoe telling Ryan Seacrest on his On-Air With radio show that Jennifer was a making a return.
He told Ryan – who of course is also the host of Idol that he was “delighted to say that all three judges and the brilliant host are back for the next season”.
With Jenny from the block reportedly netting a $20million pay packet from the show, we’re not surprised she’s signed on for another series.
