Perennial wannabe superbrat Taylor Momsen may have made her name as Jenny in Gossip Girl, but learning lines and doing general act-y things are HISTORY for Tay Mom – as she’s just admitted that she’s quit acting FOREVER. Yep, all that matters to TayMom these days is her band The Pretty Reckless.
“I now tour and am in a band and that’s pretty much all I want to do,” she says. “Hopefully I’ll be able to do only that for the rest of my life.”
TayMom quit Gossip Girl earlier this year, so any hope she’ll ever be returning to the show have been dashed. We’re not sure how fans of the show feel about that, but we must admit, The Pretty Reckless do have some rather good songs. And we interviewed TayMom once, and even though she wasn’t the best behaved celebrity we’ve ever met, she very politely tweeted us afterwards to tell us she liked the interview. Despite the moody exterior, she’s got manners, that girl.
And fashion-icon type Tay’s also admitted she wears the same clothes all the time. We pretty much knew that already, but nice of her to admit it.
“I kind of wear the same things over and over, variations of them,” she says. “Along the way [on tour] I might buy something cool, if not, I’ve got a plethora of versions of the same things.”
And there we are, panicking what to wear to work every morning. We might just take a leaf out of TayMom’s book and wear the same thing for the rest of our lives. Although we’d definitely choose a more sensible shoe than those stripper heels.
