Adele admits booze helps her write songs
Adele has well and truly become a star with her second album 21, and anyone wondering where the Rolling In The Deep singer gets her song-writing inspiration from only needs to look down the bottom of an empty bottle.
The 23-year-old Adele has revealed that getting drunk helps her get in touch with her feelings and write her heartbreaking songs, "I used to have to lock myself away in my house, get pretty drunk and write a drunk diary - and that was the first time I could admit things to myself, she told The Sun.
"A drunk tongue is an honest one in my opinion and the next morning I would read it through with an awful hangover and, in the cold light of day, had to absorb my feelings about myself. I was a bit scared that I wouldn't be articulate enough.
"I started realising my own flaws and my disappointments and I started regretting a lot of stuff. It was quite an awakening."
Don’t worry heatworlders, we won’t employ the same technique when writing celeb gossip for you.
