"Friends” steal mementos from Amy Winehouse’s home

So-called friends of Amy Winehouse have raided the singer’s Camden home, taking items belonging to the singer, including demos, lyrics books and letters.

It’s thought that around 20 people have had access to Amy’s house since her tragic death on 23 July - that includes family, friends, security personnel and police officers. Amy’s dad Mitch is reportedly determined to track down the culprits behind the theft,

"This is such a sickening shock to the family. That someone would stoop so low. They can't get their heads around it,” a source close to the Winehouse family tells The Sun.

"Mitch is livid. The family, record label and management are months away from deciding what to do with any unreleased music. For that to be taken out of their hands is horrible.

“Mitch is willing to give whoever has stolen the items a chance to do the right thing and put them back so it doesn't have to get messy."

We hope whoever is responsible does the right thing.

    that sucks lusty. like i said earlier, theres a part of me that really hopes she doesn't know rather than she does know but is choosing to keep it from me. by the way ll i'm loving your picture, david tennant with eyeliner, mmm...

    I was made redundant a few years ago, DSBT. We were taken over and promised for months that we'd be safe. Then on the Friday we were told 'you might not have a job on Monday' and Monday morning we were told to go. It's awful. Sometimes your boss doesn't know but if she does, she should tell you.

    yes she is, theres a small part of me that thinks its because she knows as much as i do, but another part of me thinks shes afraid to tell me. i really don't know what to believe, but i just want answers really, so i know where i stand

    If someones nicked Amy's lyrics I hope the reason they have done it is so the record companies don't try and milk more money out of her death by releasing music that she might not be happy with. hmph it has been raining here non stop for a day and a half. It freezing. It August and Im wearing a scarf.:( pfft what happened to global warming?

    meh, i'm not so good guys, i finish work on the 19th (as the 21st is a sunday) and no-ones telling me if i'll still have a job here after the 19th, so as far as i'm aware, i have 8 days left here =(
