The 9 O'Clock News - Anne Hathaway would like to play Kate Middleton

At the One Day premiere in London on Wednesday night, The Sun asked Anne Hathaway if she would consider playing K-Middy, and Anne replied, "I haven't really thought about it before but yes, why not? She's great. It's such a fairytale."

We think this is very exciting. After all, Anne has form when it comes to playing princesses, her breakthrough role was in The Princess Diaries.

We’re not so sure her "Yorkshire" accent will come in handy, though. Maybe she could watch the film that has already been made about Kate and William. See the clip below.

    I hate when Anne Hathawayis mant to be in a "sexy" role, she's not sexy at all! Pretty, although her features are very strange, but defo not sexy!

    I like her too, she is who she is and seems quite genuine for a celeb! Her Mum is in loads of things and I really like her too. She always plays the same character though!

    No, she's American, Mr Debster always thinks she's a brit too because of Sliding doors. She has a very natural accent. She rocks!
