Only a couple of months ago, Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony shocked the world when they announced they had decided to end their seven-year marriage. How could this happen? It only seemed like yesterday they were shimmying around and snogging on the lips in front of everyone on X Factor USA. But it was true. Sad but true. The J-Lo, M-Ant partnership was over with a capital OH.
Since the split, both have remained fairly quiet, speaking very little about the effect the separation has had on them. That is until Marc broke down on stage when the crown sang ‘Happy Birthday’ to him. Perhaps he was supremely gutted about turning 43? Or maybe he misses his Jenny from the Block.
Marc told his faithful, singing audience, “Thanks for all your love and support, especially this year; it means a lot to me.”
His on-my-knees moment must have done the trick. The following day, Jennifer was spotted heading into one of the Latino power couples’ former family homes with Marc. The singer-actress was then seen outside, in the garden, playing with her twin kids.
Could there be hope for this pair yet? Marc recently claimed he “will always love” Jennifer while Jen has said, “Sometimes it doesn’t work – and that’s sad. But I remain an eternal optimist about love. I believe in love. It’s still my biggest dream.”
Seeing as Marc Anthony was hubby number three, we can only agree that Jenny must be an optimist. We’d have given up a loooong time ago
