Some very sad news now…. It has emerged that the mother of the late Jade Goody, Jackie Budden, suffered a miscarriage earlier this month.
Jackiey, 55, fell pregnant in July this year with the child of her boyfriend John Hickinbottom, but the former Celebrity Big Brother contestant discovered she'd lost the child after suffering from cramps and bleeding.
“The moment I realised the baby had died, I broke down in tears. It was so painful, both physically and mentally. It was just so awful,” Jackiey tells the Sunday People.
“I thought Jade was bringing me a little girl from up there. It was like she was helping me from Heaven. I've lost Jade and I've lost contact with my son Brett so I was over the moon that I had another chance. Now I'm so upset, I'm grieving again. The baby would never have replaced Jade but it would have given me something to love, like I love her.”
Jackiey, who has previously admitted to using drugs when she was bringing up Jade, heartbreakingly tells how she viewed the new baby a second chance to be a good mum,
“This time, I promised myself I would have been a really good mother. I wasn't a good mum with Jade. I was a druggie and I was into credit card fraud,” Continues Jackiey, “I thought I was getting somewhere with my life but now I'm back to being sad again. I have lost Jade and now I have lost what would have been her little sister.”
